The structural centrepiece of the facility is a shell-shaped hall with a height of 20 metres. The main supporting structure of the hall roof consists of almost 86 m long glulam trusses that span in a fan shape from a central point over an intermediate support to support towers.
The timber roof consists of five 86.50 m long timber truss boxes with a height of around 4.80 m and a width of 3.84 m at the widest point and 3.44 m at the bottom – the compression posts have a conical shape to create a cantilever-like support for the adjoining gable roof trusses.
